ICBM8 took place 11-12. February 2010 in Kalpakkam, India The 8th International Conference on Barkhausen Noise and Micromagnetic Testing was arranged at IGCAR, Kalpakkam, India on February 11-12, 2010. This first ICBM conference outside Europe had brought to Kalpakkam more than 50 participants from India and from Argentina, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Japan and United Kingdom. 27 presentations were given around the use of Barkhausen Noise in industrial applications and research work. ICBM8 Conference Proceedings are being constructed and are expected to be published during the spring 2010.
